■ Effective May 14, 2012, - On Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012, Navajo Transit System is mandated by the Arizona and New Mexico Department of Transportation to hold it's in-service (mandatory) trainings for our transit drivers, mechanics and administrative staff on an annual basis. This training requires an 8-hr classroom instruction, therefore all routes will be shut-down on this day. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience, and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

■ Effective May 14, 2012, - Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012 - All routes will be shut-down, no transportation services. All routes and services will continue Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012.

■ Effective May 7, 2012, - Rt.16 - Aneth / Blanding, will be in route on May 8, 2012.

■ Effective April 19, 2012, - Rt.9 - Dilkon, has been re-routed until further notice. The new departure time and location is Dilkon Bashas Parking Lot @ 5:20am. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience, and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

■ Effective March 02, 2012, - Rt.15 - Sanders/Window Rock, has been re-routed until further notice due to decrease in ridership. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience, and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

■ Effective March 05, 2012, - Rt.6 - Crystal/Gallup, has been re-routed until further notice due to increase in ridership. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience, and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

■ Effective November 18, 2011, - The following routes will provide transportation services only Monday - Thursday, until further notice. Any questions, call 928-729-4002.

• Rt.01 - Tuba City
• Rt.03 - Kayenta
• Rt.13 - Crownpoint/Gallup
• Rt.11 - Flagstaff/Tuba City

Navajo Transit buses are operating on regular schedule. Expect delays due to weather conditions, traffic, breakdowns or other factors.
